Background
Since
2002, Zoe Brumfield, a lady piper from Central Mississippi, has performed in
Louisiana, Mississippi and Alabama, and has studied under the fine instruction
of the instructors from The Balmoral School of Piping and Drumming and the National Piping Centre. She is
currently the Pipe Major of Mississippi’s only
chartered Pipe Band, the Father of Waters Pipes and Drums (www.fatherofwaters.com) and serves
our neighboring state, Alabama,
by playing in their competition band, the Alabama Pipes and Drums. Funerals, memorials,
military ceremonies, birthday and anniversary events, St. Patrick’s Day events,
Christmas gatherings, weddings, and other public and private events are all a
part of her various musical performances. Zoe plays a wide variety of
traditional Celtic tunes as well as familiar folk tunes and church hymns for
your selection. These tunes are available at your request.
